Stay positive

There are two groups of people in the world. The ones who naturally see the glass half full and those that see it half empty.
For the half fulls positivity is a natural experience. They are far more likely to be pleased they have some money in their purse or food in their cupboard. Whereas the half empties will focus on how little money and be disappointed.
Life becomes a struggle if you are perpetually disappointed and primarily seeing the negatives first. But it doesn’t have to be. The brain is a very trainable organ and with work you can go from a half empty to a half full person.
Begin by deciding its going to be a good day. Your mind will automatically cooperate and look for things to support your idea that it’s a good day.
Smile and say hello to people. Most people will smile back which will give you an instant lift.
Congratulate yourself on a job well done, for every task you complete.
Look for something positive in every thing you do. For example if it takes you fifteen minutes to find your door keys- you’ve found them and had a quick work out whilst you were looking, that’s extra calories you’ve burned and made yourself slightly slimmer and healthier.
Take the time to make yourself look good. Looking good gives you confidence and makes you feel happier.
Try to walk more, exercise again makes you feel happier and when you feel happy it’s easier to be positive.
Make a list at the end of the day of ten things that have gone well and deliberately put aside the ones that haven’t.
Once you start to live a positive life the things that haven’t gone right will seem to be less and more manageable.
It’s a beautiful day and its going to be an amazing one. Get out there and enjoy yours.
